A self-guided way through sacred New Orleans.

New Orleans has been a Catholic city for more than three centuries. The NOLA Catholic Pilgrimage gathers five of its most significant sacred sites into a single walkable (or drivable) route — for pilgrims, visitors, and locals who want to see the city through this lens.

The pilgrimage begins Uptown at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Prompt Succor and ends at St. Louis Cathedral on Jackson Square. In between are a recently elevated minor basilica, a beatified priest's shrine, and the oldest building in the Mississippi Valley.
